This letter comes to us from Bridgeland in Cypress:My wife and I have finally had an opportunity to sit down and reflect on the experience of building our house with Partners in Building. When we told our friends of our intent, many of them asked why we would want to go through the frustration and anguish of building. They had horror stories of experiences they had when building new houses and most came away with bad memories. Well, I would like to report that our experience with Partners was totally unlike theirs' with other builders.Our "builder" was Will Tucker. We could not have asked for someone better to shepherd the construction of our house. Based on the experiences of our friends, I thought that it would be necessary to visit the house daily to find errors to point out, and then to make sure they were addressed. This simply wasn't necessary. Will was way ahead of me. Because the house is an individual design, some on-site interpretations were necessary. He listened, suggested solutions and followed through. Will was always available and punctual. We really appreciated working with such a knowledgeable and competent individual.We don't think our friends' unhappy house building experiences were necessarily unique. Some of our neighbors here in Bridgeland who had chosen other builders have related problems of their builder's representatives not too unlike those experienced by our friends.Please pass on my comments to Will.
