Bridgeland in Cypress Wins Community of the Year

Bridgeland in Cypress, TX, was recently named winner of seven 2010 Silver Awards by the National Association of Home Builders, including the coveted Community of the Year.The wins qualify the community in each of those categories for The Nationals 2011 Gold Awards, which will be announced Jan. 12 in Orlando, Fla.In addition to Community of the Year, Bridgeland won Silver Awards for Best Landscape Design, Best Signage On-Site, Best Overall Advertising Campaign, Best Color Ad and Best Integrated Marketing Campaign. Plus, Bridgeland’s Lona Shipp won Marketing Director of the Year.The Silver Awards cap a year of notable achievements for Bridgeland, which was named Developer of the Year by both the Texas Association of Builders in its Texas Star Grand Awards and by the Greater Houston Builders Association in its Houston’s Best contest.Bridgeland also was named Master-Planned Community of the Year during The Nationals’ 2009 Gold Awards, topping both national and international entrants, as well as Best Planned Community in the 2009 Houston’s Best awards and Community of the Year in 2008 during the GHBA PRISM awards, the predecessor to Houston’s Best.
