May 28th Autism Awareness Event in Bridgeland

Picture yourself helping people with autism in Bridgeland’s Pose for Autism charity event 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 28th.

During the event, to be held at Lakeland Activity Center, 16902 North Bridgeland Lake Parkway, supporters can make a donation to Avondale House and receive the gift of a free portrait.

Those making a $25 donation will receive an Autism Awareness Facebook mini-session to snap the perfect profile picture. A donation of $200 or more qualifies for a $400 portrait gift card with jlmPress Photography, as well as the Facebook mini-session. Facebook pictures will be taken at the event, so participants should come ready to be photographed. Refreshments and children activities also are planned.A non-profit agency, Avondale House provides educational services, a day habitation program and residential services for people diagnosed with autism. Founded in 1976 by parents of children with autism, Avondale House today has a state-of-the-art 33,000 square foot facility specially designed to address the unique sensory, educational and developmental needs of its clients.
