If you like the idea of a community, where hundreds of residents lace up their shoes to "walk the walk" while supporting do-good organizations, then you’ll love Telfair. Telfair is home to the annual TelfairLife Charity of Your Choice Walk, which has raised over $100,000 in previous years for local charities involved in everything from protecting children to helping the environment.Now in its third year, the Charity of Your Choice Walk is planned for Saturday, April 10, starting at 8:00am. This year, 14 Fort Bend area charities will receive 100% of the registration fees, which are $25 for adults and $10 for children. TelfairLife will also contribute $20,000 in additional challenge prize money.You can register online, and you don’t have to be a Telfair resident to take part.
