PIB’s build-on-your-lot program has been an excellent experience for my wife and I, and we truly love our new home.To briefly elaborate, in mid-March 2010, Shannon and I closed on our home in the Spring Valley area. Our journey began, however, almost a year earlier when we first met with Kevin Lee to obtain some background information about your company and to look at several of the wonderful home models PIB has to offer. Kevin is a “straight shooter” and was extremely helpful from the very beginning. My wife and I both appreciate Kevin’s approach. Of the other luxury home builders in the Houston area whom we were considering at the time, Mr. Lee was by far the most competent representative of the group. Indeed, he was exceptionally knowledgeable in construction cost ranges for each model, and was able to sensibly speak to us in layman terms concerning upgrades, build timing, and construction dynamics. Needless to say, Mr. Lee’s approach “sealed the deal” from our first meeting. He is a great asset to your company.We would also like to thank the quality PIB people involved throughout the design and planning process. From the inception of the design process, through completion of construction plans, we had the pleasure of working with absolutely outstanding people who are truly great representatives for PIB. Besides Kevin Lee, his brother Brian Lee was also very helpful in explaining the intricacies of the build-on-your lot process. To first-time home builders such as Shannon and I, the structural design experience can initially seem overwhelming, especially when trying to create a dream home on a planned budget. However, with Kevin and Brian’s guidance, we were helped through the entire design phase and were able to create the exact type of home which we had conceptually designed in our heads on countless occasions. Brian’s outstanding professionalism and expertise during the design process were tremendous.Additionally, Maggie Sassin, at the design center, was super friendly and exceptionally informative with customization ideas, fixture information, terminology, and the overall design process. Maggie was careful to make sure that we were comfortable in our upgrade decisions, the price parameters we wanted to stay in, and the types of in-home materials we wanted to see in our new residence. In short, Maggie’s attentiveness is unequaled. As to construction itself, we cannot say enough about Sam Hickey and Chris Turner, our two construction superintendents. It became immediately apparent from day-one that, unlike horror stories people tell of a “missing&rrdquo; or “unreachable” general contractor, both Sam and Chris would shatter those stereotypes. Both gentleman are extremely customer service oriented and were always easily available for on-site discussions at every phase of construction. Moreover, both Sam and Chris are dedicated to helping PIB’s customers achieve their goals, through their respective skills, approachability, and construction experience. All of these attributes were invaluable to us during the entire construction phase. I also found Sam and Chris’ guidance and advice concerning our home to be dependable, accurate, and thorough in all respects. Any questions that we had during every step of our home’s construction, or any additional changes that we proposed throughout the build process (sometimes last-minute), were always met with forthright answers and steadfast solutions. Plus, I always felt that Sam and Chris were simply just a phone call or email away – readily available to confer about any issue at the slightest request. I believe it was through their excellent on-site leadership, and twenty-four hour accessibility, that we were successful in avoiding any long and frustrating delays in construction. I cannot reiterate enough what a pleasure it was to work both Sam and Chris, and we will highly recommend their services (and, of course, PIB’s) to anyone in the market for a build-on-your-lot home in the Houston area.Finally, we would also like to thank PIB for our positive post-closing experience. The PIB staff has remained extremely vigilant and helpful in addressing and immediately fixing several minor warranty issues that have arisen since closing. I truly appreciate PIB’s recognition that keeping customers happy is of utmost importance. It is also reassuring for both Shannon and I to witness first-hand how dedicated PIB is to standing behind its work.In short, if we had to do it all again in the future, Shannon and I would not hesitate to select PIB as the builder to construct our luxury home.
