Over 300 attendees participated in the annual Walkathon organized by the Indo-American Charity Foundation last weekend at the Lost Creek Park in Sugar Land, Texas. The community event raised money for 15 Indo-American organizations, including the ICC, Daya, India House, IAPAC, Sewa International, IACCGH, Indo American Forum and IITAGH, just to name a few.Mr. Pradeep Gokhale, the Walkathon Chair, explained that this Walkathon is a great event to share the IACF Vision, which is to foster a local community whose basic needs are met and where everyone could lead enriched lives through better health, education and growth opportunities.In addition to walkathon, there were a wide range of activities including live music, painting contests, children games, face painting, free legal clinic organized by ILAH, yoga classes and more.Partners in Building is a proud sponsor of the IACF Walkathon.
