The Woodlands Development Company (TWDC) in conjunction with The Woodlands Township will soon begin construction of two spraygrounds in the new neighborhoods of May Valley in the Village of Sterling Ridge and Timarron in the Village of Creekside Park, according to Tim Welbes, president of TWDC. The Woodlands Township will operate and maintain the facilities once they are open. A sports playfield is also being added in Timarron Park.“We are pleased that the residents in these new neighborhoods will have a water feature as part of their neighborhood parks,” Welbes said.

My family and I recently moved into our new Partners in Building home, which was built through your build on your lot program. I am writing to tell you that I could not have been more pleased with the process and the end results. I want to give you a few of my reflections on some of the fine people in your organization that helped us along the way.First I want to mention a couple of folks that we met in some of the many model homes that we visited.

Area youngsters will have plenty to do this winter and spring with the continuation of several popular children’s classes in Bridgeland.Classes have multiple sessions through May and fees vary, although resident discounts apply to each class. Instructing the classes is Dona Martinez, an early childhood educator for the past nine years. She currently teaches art at a private Catholic school for children in grades three through eight.
