Firethorne Achieves Record High in 2009 New Home Sales

Firethorne sold 238 new homes in 2009, achieving a record high for annual sales for the Katy/Fulshear residential development. Last year’s home sales represent a 16.6 percent increase over 2008 (204 homes). The previous record for the four-year-old development was 218 sales in 2007. The 1,400-acre master-designed community is located 15 miles west of Houston’s Energy Corridor.

Study ranks Sugar Lands Telfair 4th in nation for 2009 newhome sales

Newland Communities' Telfair in Sugar Land was the nation’s fourth top-selling master-planned community (MPC) for new-home sales in 2009, according to a survey by RCLCO, an independent real estate advisory firm.With 450 new-home sales in 2009, Telfair was one of only two Houston master-planned communities on RCLCO’s top 10 list to report a sales increase from the previous year.Sales increased 9% last year in the 2,018-acre community, located at U.S. 59 South and University Blvd. in Sugar Land.

Cinco Ranch is 2009s topselling US newhome community

Newland Communities' Cinco Ranch in Houston was the nation’s top-selling master-planned community (MPC) for new-home sales in 2009, according to a survey by RCLCO, an independent real estate advisory firm.With 887 net new-home sales in 2009, Cinco Ranch topped the RCLCO study, moving up from second place in 2008. Sales in the 7,600-acre community were up 14%, making it one of only four communities on the top 10 list to report a positive new-home sales gain from 2008 to 2009.“These results are outstanding for us,” said Bob McLeod, Chairman and CEO of Newland Communities.

Partners in Building Hosts Telfair Homeowners Appreciation Party

Partners in Building recently hosted a community event in Telfair. The party was well attended by a mix of current Partners in Building homeowners along with prospective Telfair customers.The elegant evening included valet parking, waiters serving hors d’oeuvres and drinks, and a delicious dinner catered by Café Natalie. Guests were warmly welcomed by Partners in Building staff as they mixed and mingled.
