This note is long overdue now that we have been in our house for about a month now, but I think definitely better late than never.  When we started the process of searching for a new home, the idea of building something from the ground up was dismissed by us on several occasions, mainly due to the all the negative comments of others who have gone through the process.  

Newland Communities' Cinco Ranch in Houston was the nation’s top-selling master-planned community (MPC) for new-home sales in 2009, according to a survey by RCLCO, an independent real estate advisory firm.With 887 net new-home sales in 2009, Cinco Ranch topped the RCLCO study, moving up from second place in 2008. Sales in the 7,600-acre community were up 14%, making it one of only four communities on the top 10 list to report a positive new-home sales gain from 2008 to 2009.“These results are outstanding for us,” said Bob McLeod, Chairman and CEO of Newland Communities.

Partners in Building recently hosted a community event in Telfair. The party was well attended by a mix of current Partners in Building homeowners along with prospective Telfair customers.The elegant evening included valet parking, waiters serving hors d’oeuvres and drinks, and a delicious dinner catered by Café Natalie. Guests were warmly welcomed by Partners in Building staff as they mixed and mingled.

Yesterday evening, Partners in Building held a Wolf/Sub Zero cooking demonstration for realtors in our showcase home at 4037 Meadow Lake in Oak Estates.  Guests were able to test the stunning appliances, including the 48" Wolf range and the 48" Sub Zero refrigerator featuring a stainless interior.  Realtors also toured the magnificent 5614 sq. ft.
