This Labor Day weekend, Partners in Building invites you to tour our newest community, Player Vista, in the Village of Sterling Ridge at The Woodlands. Be among the first to view our new model home, while it's under construction. In addition to being able to walk through the new model home the sales counselor at Player Vista, will be driving guests through the community in a golf cart. We'll also have a tent set up with drinks and door prizes.

Fort Bend County officially broke ground at the new Sienna Branch Library, located at 8411 Sienna Springs Blvd. in Missouri City, on Wednesday, September 10. The library is a partnership with the Houston Community College System, and will be the first joint-use facility in the Fort Bend County library system. Designed by STOA/Golemon/Bolullo Architects of Houston, the 2-story building will be approximately 45,000 square feet in size.
The Houston's Best Awards Show (formerly PRISM), presented by the Sales and Marketing Council of the Greater Houston Builders Association, took place on Saturday September 12th at the House of Blues. The awards show celebrates the success of Houston's top home builders, remodelers, developers and key decision makers in the building industry. At the show, Partners in Building was honored with four awards for home building excellence.

Partners in Building is participating in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's "Walk to Cure Diabetes" again this year. The walk will take place on September 26th at Reliant Park. As many as 3 million Americans have type 1 diabetes, a disease most often diagnosed in childhood that strikes suddenly, lasts a lifetime, and carries the constant threat of deadly complications, including heart disease, stroke, blindness, kidney failure, and amputation. JDRF's mission is constant: to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research.
The 17th Annual Katy Triathlon, the third largest co-ed triathlon in Texas, has announced plans to move to the Firethorne master-designed residential community in Katy/Fulshear this fall. Renamed the "Katy Triathlon at Firethorne," the USA Triathlon-sanctioned race will be held Sunday, October 25, 7:30 a.m. - 11 a.m., in and around the 1,400-acre community. "Hosting the Katy Triathlon at Firethorne is such a natural for us because of our involvement in competitive sports and fitness in Katy," said Firethorne General Manager Wayne Meyer.
How many communities can boast an onsite museum as part of their amenity package? Telfair can, when the Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land opens on Saturday, Oct. 3. The museum’s grand opening occurs on the same date as the first annual TelfairLife International Music Festival, a free family event from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., happening next to the museum. The public is invited to come to Telfair on Oct.
On Saturday September 26th, employees and friends of Partners in Building participated in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's "Walk to Cure Diabetes". The 5K walk took place at Reliant Park. The walk kicked off the fun-filled morning, but there were many other activities for the whole family, including moonwalks, kids' karaoke, a live band, entertainment from the Texans' mascot and cheerleaders, raffles, food and drinks.
