Telfair Central Hall Now Under Construction

Driving through Telfair, residents and visitors might notice a large construction project taking place along New Territory Blvd., next to the Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land. This construction site is home to the future Telfair Central Hall, an innovative 9,545 sq. ft. community center building planned to open in the fall.As the artist’s rendering shows, Telfair Central Hall takes some design inspiration from the historic 1939 Central State Farm building next door, which was transformed into the museum’s new home last fall.

Family Picnic and Springtime Home Tour Coming to The Woodlands Creekside Park

"Baskets Full of Fun" is the theme for a free family picnic and home tour in the Tupelo neighborhoods in The Woodlands’ Village of Creekside Park. This family-oriented event is set for Saturday and Sunday, March 27 and 28, and Saturday, April 3, 2010 from 10 am – 6 pm each day. Guests will have the opportunity to tour 11 furnished and decorated model homes by popular homebuilders including Partners in Building.“Free shuttles will be available to take families to tour the 11 model homes,” said Susan Vreeland-Wendt, Director of Marketing for The Woodlands Development Company.
