Houston and Austin The Two Healthiest Housing Markets for 2009

Lately, there are only positive things to hear about when it comes to Houston and Austin, TX. Boyce Thompson of BuilderOnline.com just published an article outlining the top fifteen home markets for 2009, and Houston and Austin took number one and number two, respectively. Together with Hanley Wood Market Intelligence, Builder Magazine displayed their metric for determining the markets with the best and least potential.

Telfairs Second Annual Charity of Your Choice Walk

While the economy is down, the nation’s donations to charities have unfortunately followed. Still, Houston area residents have the opportunity to make a big impact on the community next month. On Saturday, March 28 at Telfair in Sugar Land, the second annual TelfairLife Charity of Your Choice Walk will take place.

Walking Houstonians will benefit 13 Fort Bend area charities, including three new beneficiaries this year: Asians Against Domestic Abuse, Second Mile Mission Center, and Shape Up Sugar Land.
